The maximum stitch width possible with the eXplore 240 is 5mm.

The Elna eXplore 240 is fast, too! You’ll be able to sew up to 800 stitches per minute. But don’t fret if that seems intimidating. You’ll be able to slow down the machine simply by lifting the pressure you’re using to step on the foot control. It’s touch sensitive, so the harder you press, the faster it sews!

If you’re looking for a machine that you can hone as many sewing skills as possible, the eXplore 240 is a great choice because you’ll also be able to try your hand at free motion quilting! This sewing machine allows you to drop the feed dogs in a very easy conversion.

Or, if you’re enjoying sewing garments and costumes or even smaller soft furnishings, you’ll really appreciate the bed being able to convert into a free arm. Free arms are great for fitting pieces that have a small circumference, such as shirt sleeves.
